Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Vicki Axarlis and I am an educator and instructional designer by profession. I have designed this portfolio to guide you on a journey through various samples of my professional and educational work.

It is my belief that education is a lifelong journey. As we travel along our educational paths, we encounter teachers who introduce us to exciting new concepts, encourage us to grow and explore, and provide us with the skills necessary to succeed in life. Some teachers are those in a formal sense, while others are friends and mentors who offer input and lessons of experience along the way.

I chose to take the career path of an educator because I have a love of learning and want to share my experiences with future generations. I believe that every experience can be educational and offers something of value that helps us grow. As an educator it is my job to encourage learning through discovery, to act as a guide, to take in the valuable experiences others have to offer, to demonstrate my passion for learning, and to know myself and what I have to offer to others.
